Lockdown study! The ALLi self-publishing conference 2020

ALLi, the Alliance of Independent Authors,  went ahead with their Self Publishing conference  that normally runs after the London Book Fair (itself sadly cancelled this year due to Covid-19). There were over thirty speakers on topics covering things like selling translation rights, how to use marketing to achieve more sales, and five fundamental things to before you self-publish your book. There are literally hours of video, covering all aspects of indie publishing. You can check it out yourself, here. A three day pass to review the sessions is free; there’s a small fee for lengthier passes, and of course all the content is completely free to ALLi members.

There are good sessions on how to use book promotion sites, how to earn more than just royalties with a non-fiction book and how to work with libraries to boost sales.
